Well, I've been reading manga after manga after manga from the library lately, and it got me into wanting to write a short comic. You know, something only a few pages long. xD So, I'm chatting with my brother over AIM while I get this random urge, and I tell him to give me a plot. After this and that, he decides to give me a trope-filled plot...

"On the first day of high school, a flamboyant girl named Hikari meets a shy bookworm named Sana who rarely says even a complete sentence. Determined to get Sana to open up to the class, Hikari enrolls them both in her school's art club, only to find that they are the only two members!"

... and asks me if I can work with it. I don't take him seriously at first until I ask him if he actually is. He tells me he's serious. In reply, I tell him I'll try to work with that plot.

Since then, I have been rather excited about this possible comic, though I've only been mulling over the plot a little bit (including the idea my other brother gave me: lampshade hanging, which will be done by Hikari's best friend, Megumi, who is a total otaku). I have come up with (at least temporary) character designs, though they may be subject to change. As for HOW I'm going to be doing this comic and whatnot, that's still in the workshop.

For now, I do have a practice comic submitted into my gallery, so, if you're interested... xD

Tips on making comics or whatever else could be involved are gratefully accepted. =3
